Developed guidance on how to evaluate machinery of government changes. This will be included in the State Services Commission’s updated suite of information on reviewing the machinery of government.
For Superu
This work involved:
- a review of New Zealand and international literature on reviewing, auditing and evaluating machinery of government changes
- development of guidance relevant to the New Zealand context, in consultation with Superu and State Services Commission staff
- inclusion of several short case studies that demonstrate good practice in evaluating machinery of government changes.
